About Bare Metal
Bare Metal is one homelab operator showing what actually works when you run your own AI and automation on real hardware — a Proxmox box with a Ryzen 5700G, no rented cloud, no monthly subscriptions.
The guides cover local LLMs, n8n workflows, and self-hosted replacements for the SaaS you're tired of paying for — the setups run on my own hardware. Some are drafted from the official docs and reviewed before I publish them (each one's marked). If something's hype, I'll say so. If it's genuinely good, I'll show you exactly how to run it.
The whole point: stop renting your software. Self-host your AI.
